Recall Alert: Lean Cuisine spaghetti with meatballs

(AP) - Nestle Prepared Foods Inc. is recalling Stouffer's Lean Cuisine Simple Favorites Spaghetti with Meatballs because the 9.5-ounce packages may contain a foreign material.

Nestle Prepared Foods Co. of Gaffney, S.C., says the packages were shipped to distributors and retail stores east of the Rocky Mountains.

Complaints about hard plastic in the product have been received from consumers in Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin but no injuries have been reported.

The recall involves about 10,260 pounds in 9.5-oz. packages.

The packages have the establishment number "P-7991," case code "0298595519P" and a best before date of November, 2011.

The spaghetti and meatball products were packaged on Oct. 25, 2010.
