Amarillo, Texas - Amarillo is set to get a major economic boost and some charities could benefit as well. It's called The Ink Life Tour and Amarillo is the first stop on its cross country trek.

From tattoos to body piercing to a body suspension show, where people hang from the ceiling by hooks pierced into their skin. This show is brand new to the Texas Panhandle.

Operations Manager George Galindo says, "We were looking for somewhere in Texas. I think Amarillo is ready. We really do think the pre-sales show that they are ready. We're thinking of making this a permanent spot every year on our tour."

It's expected to bring at least a $50,000 boost to our economy, that's in restaurant, shopping and hotel revenue.

Several of the tattoo artists have also pledged to give 20% of their proceeds to "America Supports You Texas", which helps our local active duty and veterans.
