Stranded passengers to leave Amarillo

NewsChannel 10

Amarillo, Texas - The Greyhound passengers that were stranded in Amarillo by Wednesday's winter storm will be leaving today.

Greyhound says the first bus should be leaving at noon.

Some passengers say they made arrangements to stay at the Salvation Army facility Wednesday night.

They say the bus drivers spent the night in a hotel, leaving them in the reportedly unheated terminal and buses.

Customers were given meal vouchers to use at the small restaurant inside the terminal.
