Amarillo, TX - A 16 year old is in police custody after allegedly robbing two Amarillo convenience stores.

Police say the suspect, wearing a mask and dark clothing, demanded money from a Toot'n Totum in the 2400 block of South Western, just before 10:00pm last night.

A clerk says the teen took cash and a carton of cigarettes then fled. Shortly after, undercover officers reported seeing a man matching the suspect's description behind the Stars Food Mart in the 3400 block of South Georgia.

The teen reportedly went into the store and demanded money from the register. Police arrested the suspect without incident. He is currently being held in the Youth Center of the High Plains.
