AMARILLO, TX - An Amarillo woman has reached an undisclosed settlement with the US government after she says she was humiliated by a Transportation Security Administration agent back in 2008.

The woman alleges in May of that year, she was undergoing an intense security search at the Corpus Christi airport, when a male TSA agent, pulled down her blouse, exposing her breasts. According to the woman's claim in court documents, she was so embarrassed she left the area and returned some time later. At that time, TSA agents were joking about the incident.

"Hopefully cases like this, will cause TSA agents to be a little more cautious, a little more courteous to passengers.  I don't know if it will, but I hope it does. " said Jerry McLaughlin, the plaintiff's attorney.

Court documents indicate the federal government denies the incident happened.

McLaughlin tells NewsChannel 10, both parties were ready for the proceedings to be over and that's why it was not taken any further. He also says, the woman is doing well despite the alleged ordeal.
