AMARILLO, TX - Your help is needed in solving an unsolved murder that happened more than 30 years ago.

20 year old Treana Anderson was shot to death on the night of August 13, 1978.

Police tell NewsChannel 10,  she was riding in the back seat of a car with two friends when they believe she became the victim of road rage. According to Anderson's friends at the time of the murder,  they cut off a driver on I-40 to catch the Bell Street exit. Minutes later while stopped at the intersection of Plains and Bell, they saw a car drive alongside them and heard a round of gun shots come from that vehicle. Anderson was shot in the back of her head and upper body.

"Maybe someone in the back of their mind can remember 32 years ago, seeing someone shoot into a car on Plains and Bell. A young girl was killed. That's a long time for a family to know who did this." said Lt. Gary Trupe with Potter-Randall Special Crimes
