Students Show Their Support

If you have not already made a donation to the High Plains Food Bank's Holiday drive, there is still time.

The "Together We Can" food drive continues through Saturday at United Supermarkets.

The food bank has delivered more than 7-millions of pounds of food to those in need this year.

Kids from some of our area schools have come out to show their support and donate the food they collected.

Chairman and CEO of First Bank Southwest, Smith Ellis says "kids want to help kids and we need everybody. Everybody from the corporations, to the business owners to our volunteers and to our kids to really make a dent in this. We don't need hunger in the Texas panhandle."

Today's theme is "School Celebration."

Come by and join Newschannel 10 tonight at 5, 6, 9 and 10 for our live reports from United Market Street...

And for every donation made today - you will receive a coupon for a free spicy chicken sandwich from Chick Fil-A.
