Amarillo, Texas - For those senior citizens out there in our community who may not have anyone to shop for them and buy them Christmas presents, one local organization stepped in on Saturday to help out.

A Time to Share handed out gifts to nearly 1,000 people.

A Time to Share founder says, Nancy Haning "We have so many great programs out there for kiddos. We're really the only organization out there that focuses on elderly people and adults with disabilities."

Each recipient had the gifts delivered to their homes... Everything ranging from pajamas to sweaters to kitchen towels and blankets.

They mainly focus on Christmas gifts, but volunteers hand out gifts at Easter as well.
