Dimmitt, TX - Neighbors in Dimmitt rallied together Saturday afternoon to help one of their own.

In conjunction to the Sixth Annual Eskimo Toy Run, Dimmitt residents pulled together a fundraiser and silent auction to help former resident Brandi and Phillip Diamond who went bankrupt and nearly lost their home, trying to pay for their son Cole's extremely expensive medical bills.

Cole has a severe, but undiagnosed medical condition, which costs $15,000 a month to treat.

In just a few hours, a few dozen people were able to raise more than $5,000 for the Diamond family.

If you'd like to help, a fund has been set up in Cole Diamond's name at Amarillo National Bank.
