Amarillo, TX - An Amarillo man is behind bars charged with local model, Daisy Strout's murder.

Preliminary autopsy results showed 26 year old Daisy Strout died from blunt force injuries to her upper body.

When she was found dead in a local parking lot Sunday morning, witnesses told investigators her fiance, 43 year old Michael Paul Buse was the last one to see her alive.

Buse was questioned by authorities soon after Strout's body was found and his 2003 Black Chevrolet Avalanche pick up was taken as evidence.

Just one day after authorities had the pick-up, Buse was asked to come back to The Special Crimes Unit to be questioned for a second time.

This time, he was booked into The Potter County Detention Center and charged with murder.

Investigators say it is believed Strout and Buse had a verbal argument before she got out of his truck and was run over.

It is also suspected Buse's pick-up is the vehicle that was used to kill Strout.

This investigation is still ongoing and police are still asking for your help.

If you know anything about this incident you are asked to The Special Crimes Unit at 806-378-9468.
