AMARILLO, TX - Detectives are investigating a pair of convenience store robberies that could be related.

Police aren't sure if the suspects in two separate Toot-N-Totum robberies, almost a week apart, are the same person. However, they are asking help in catching whoever is on the run.

Around 10:30 Tuesday night, police responded to a robbery at the Toot-N-Totum in the 800 block of Georgia street.

Police tell NewsChannel10, a man about 5-10 walked into the convenience store and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect was wearing a green bandana and carried what appeared to be a gun is wrapped in a cloth.

A man with the same description robbed a Toot-N-Totum on Plains Boulevard last week.

"It could be the same individual. However, we will continue to investigate the robberies separately until we do come up with a suspect." Corporal Jerry Neufeld with Amarillo Police Department tells NewsChannel 10.

The suspects in both cases face 1st degree felony charges of aggravated robbery.
