Pampas' Road To Recovery

Pampa, TX - Today Lifetime Recovery Centers of America and the Mayor of Pampa Lonny Robbins declared September as Drug Addiction Recovery Month. National Alcohol and Drug Addiction recovery month is observed every September to highlight the reality of recovery experienced by millions of Americans and the treatment and recovery support providers who have helped them on their road to recovery. Recovery month is observed all across the country and is supported by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Next month, The First Annual Lifetime Recovery Centers of America is sponsoring an event with National Alcohol & Drug Addiction Recovery Month. Their goal is to bring Pampa and all surrounding communities together as a part of this year's annual observance of Recovery month.

It's called - Communities Helping Communities, it is September 25th at Recreational Park in Pampa from 12:00pm - 9:00pm. Local churches, booster clubs and community organizations, are invited to join in with the sale of crafts, live music, food, cook-offs and fun for the kids on that day.
