Two Major Announcements For Texas Panhandle Honor Flight

Amarillo, Texas - The Texas Panhandle Honor Flight received some good news today as they received a check from the Mary E. Bivins Foundation, and Southwest Airlines has signed on to be the sole provider for both flights this fall.

The Texas Panhandle Honor Flight had its inaugural flight when 42 World War II veterans were flown to Washington D.C. in 2008. The Honor Flight gained more support from the people of our community and from American Airlines in 2009.

The Texas Panhandle Honor Flight is noted as one of the premier Honor Flights in the country because instead of a done day trip, it is a three day all-expenses-paid tour of several monuments and attractions in Washington.
