Montano sentencing

Portales, NM -  A Portales man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison in connection with a fatal stabbing.

Forty eight-year-old, Isaac Montano Jr. has been charged with second-degree murder and armed robbery.

Police say he was found wandering around a residential area covered in blood in July 2008.

While Montano was receiving medical treatment, authorities found that he was carrying a pistol, knife and two wallets.

One of the wallets belonged to the victim, 72-year-old, Donald Chapman.

Chapman was found stabbed and shot, he died shortly after.
