Education: B.S. in Exercise Sports Science & Corporate Industrial Fitness with a minor in Texas Tech University
Experience: I have been personal training since 1994. I've worked at Flex Fitness in Lubbock and the Town Club. I have been teaching Weight Training Conditioning at Amarillo College since 1995. My junior year in high school, I tore my ACL. After a year of intense rehab with a trainer, I played football again my senior year. That's when I decided I wanted to get into the business of helping people one-on-one.
Hobbies: All outdoor activities such as running, biking, golfing, fishing. I enjoy all my kids and all the things they are involved in. I have run 8 marathons and finished 5 half-ironman triathlons.
Philosophy on Exercise: Your body is your temple. Exercise is the one thing that can help maintain your youth. Exercise is an outlet to relieve stress, burn calories, build muscle and feel better about yourself.
My Goal for My Clients: I want my clients to reach the goal they desire. I want them to have a better understanding of how their body works. I teach them what it takes to get the best out of their workouts and know what to put into their bodies to help them look and feel better about themselves for the rest of their lives.
