Michelle Langowski is the News at Noon and Live at 5pm News Anchor for NewsChannel 10.
She made her way to Amarillo in November 2009 from Great Falls/Helena, Montana but is a San Diego, California native. She started her career in Montana where she worked for two years as a reporter and fill-in anchor for KTVH. While in the capital city she covered a variety of topics and issues. A few that impacted her most included interviewing now President Barack Obama, flying in a B25 Bomber alongside a young girl battling cancer, attempting to rope cattle, and sitting down with the nation's oldest man.
Michelle is a graduate of San Diego State University, where she received a BA in Communications and English.
Michelle strives to be an active member of the community, participating in organizations such The High Plains Food Bank, March of Dimes, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and Eveline Rivers Christmas Project. She enjoys exploring her new home of Amarillo, hiking in Palo Duro Canyon, traveling across Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma and spending time with her family and friends…oh and yes, she is a huge San Diego Chargers fan!
