Amarillo, Texas - A 17 year old is in the Randall County jail on allegations he stabbed his own brother.

Amarillo police say 21 year old Jason Freeman-Gamblin was stabbed by his brother around midnight Saturday night.  They were called to the home at 2706 Curtis.

Freeman-Gamblin had apparently been stabbed several times in his upper body and is in critical condition.

Police say his 17 year old brother took off before officers arrived, but went back and was arrested.  He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police believe the two had been fighting for several days before it escalated to stabbing.
