DIMMIT, TEXAS - After leading police on a multi-state manhunt, the suspected killer of a Dimmitt man walks out of jail Monday.

Last week, 38-year-old Donell Smith turned himself in on manslaughter charges of Michael Nicholson.

Smith complained that he couldn't afford his 50-thousand dollar bond. So today, the DA where the crime happened cut the cost in half -- allowing Smith to bond out Monday afternoon.
