Amarillo, Texas - The City of Amarillo will be saving thousands of dollars on their 76-million dollar bonds of obligation.

The bonds will be used to construct another high service pump station at the city's Osage water treatment plant.  They'll also be used to complete the Potter County wellfield project.

The city's triple-a credit rating means the city will be paying very low interest rates on the bonds. The commission won't actually consider the approval of the bonds until November 24th.
