Hereford, Texas - A fire near Hereford is finally out and authorities believe burning trash is the culprit.

The blaze started at FM 2943 and County Road 1 just southeast of Hereford.

It burned 362 acres and threatened twelve homes, some of which were evacuated Friday night.

The acres burned were mostly CRP land and range land.

Firefighters say it took them about two hours to get it under control.
