Amarillo, Texas - Randall County District Attorney James Farren says the investigation into local attorney David Duncan's finances is ongoing.

Farren says 320th District Judge Don Emerson lowered bond for Duncan against the D.A.'s recommendation. Duncan posted a $16,000 bond Thursday and left the Randall County jail.

Duncan was arrested and his office was searched at the end of August this year. He was originally given $500,000 bond for a theft of property charge related to the investigation by the Randall County D.A. Other unrelated charges put his bond well over a million dollars.

The reduced bond was for charges including forgery by passing, probation violation for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of marijuana.
