$45 Million In Stimulus Money Available For Texas Energy Conservation

Amarillo, Texas - Over $900,000 in federal stimulus funds are up for grabs to help our area with energy efficiency. Texas Comptroller Susan Combs says close to $45 Million dollars has been allocated for energy efficiency and energy conservation projects across the state.

She says the money has already been allocated for Texas, so smaller communities don't need to bid for these grants on the federal level.
