Amarillo, Texas - After nearly 20 years, a suspect in an Amarillo cold case is indicted for Murder. 47th District Attorney Randall Sims says 45 year old Andrew Paul Jimenez was indicted by a Potter County Grand Jury for the July 1990 shooting death of a man outside a bar.

In 1990, a Grand Jury did not find enough evidence for the case to proceed. The cold case was reopened and a different Grand Jury did find enough evidence in the case.

Jimenez is currently serving time in the Clements Unit for an unrelated felony charge.
