Levi King: Day 8

Levi King had violent tendencies as early as elementary school, according to his third grade teacher.

She, along with several other of Levi's teachers, took the stand during the punishment phase of his capital murder trial on Thursday.

She remembers Levi often drew pictures of weapons and blood.

She said, though, when she told his mom about the violent pictures, she didn't seem to care.

His fourth grade teacher echoed that opinion, saying his parents were not supportive and noticeably uninvolved in his life.

Both women say his parents set him up for failure. After years of excessive absences, he eventually dropped out of school in eighth grade.
