City H1-N1 Funding

City Commissioners are worried H1-N1 information will not be communicated sufficiently to small businesses. 

On Tuesday, they voted to accept more than 200-thousand dollars from the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Part of that money will be used for Media Consulting, essentially, to get the message out about best practices dealing with a potential H1-N1 outbreak.

More staff will be hired at the Public Health Department as well.
