Lubbock, TX - Levi King's defense team is now pleading his side of the case in a Lubbock courtroom.

Several Missouri jail employees took the stand Monday morning, and called king a fantastic inmate as well as one who was always cooperative. One employee said if King was ever released she would "even take him home with her."

The prosecution countered with official jail reports showing King was involved in fights while in jail and that he also made violent threats. King went on a two state killing spree in September of 2005.

He admits to killing two people in Missouri, and then hours later driving to Gray County and shooting three people there.
