Oklahoma Panhandle Roads, Bridges will receive an Upgrade

Guymon, OK - $4 Billion worth of construction work will take place on Oklahoma roads and bridges over the next 8 years, much of it in the Panhandle.

The Oklahoma Transportation Commission approved the construction plan that includes work on 563 bridges.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the proposal includes more than 446 miles of shoulder and other upgrades to two-lane roads.

They'll spend almost half of the $4 Billion on improvements to major highways.
