Bad Economy Helps Chautauqua

It's been a rough year for Pampa -- one of the town's major employers shut down, their real estate market slowed to an almost stand-still and hopes of becoming the wind-energy capital of the world faded. But today was a holiday from all of that.

It was a cheerful mood in the town's central park - as the festival reached it's largest size in three years.

The number of booths was up almost 50 percent from last year alone -- hitting 82 from 55 in 2008. Organizers say they're thrilled with the turn-out.
