Amarillo, Texas - The sticky street situation in the Southwest part of Amarillo has been corrected by the city.

Two weeks ago we showed you a black, tar-like substance stuck on the residential streets in the area from Georgia to Washington and between 46th and 46th. The city promised to have it fixed by now, and it has delivered.

The street superintendent says the cooler weather moving through the area has helped smooth out the streets to the way they should be. But he says he is keeping an eye on them for any more trouble spots.
