Amarillo, Texas -A man extradited from New Mexico back to Amarillo on murder charges is indicted by a Potter County Grand Jury.

District Attorney Randall Sims says 31 year old David Abraham Anaya was indicted for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and one count of Murder. In May of this year, Anaya is accused of taking part in the shooting death of a man while driving on Amarillo Boulevard.  He was taken into custody shortly after the shooting, but was released due to a lack of evidence at the time.

He was arrested in Albuquerque last week after a tip on his location was called into Amarillo CrimeStoppers.
