Aggravated Robbery on Amarillo Blvd.

Amarillo, TX - Two men suspected of robbing an Amarillo fast food restaurant and assaulting a pregnant employee early Tuesday morning remain on the run.  Amarillo police say it happened just after midnight at the Burger King in the 400 block Amarillo Blvd. east. Two armed men broke in the back door, ordered the manager to open the safe and took an unknown amount of money. Emergency medical services came to provide care for a pregnant employee kicked in the stomach during the robbery.  She was not transported to the hospital. Police describe the suspects as two men, between 5'10 and 6'0.  Both are said to have thin builds and were wearing masks. If you have any information you are asked to call Amarillo CrimeStoppers at 374-4400.
