Man Arrested For Copper Theft

Pampa, Texas - A 19 year old Memphis man is accused of trying to sell close to $25,000 dollars worth of stolen copper wire.

The Gray County Sheriff's Department says they arrested Nehemias Rodriguez Wednesday afternoon in Hall county. They say Rodriguez stole the copper wire near Pampa, then sold a large portion of it in Amarillo.

He is being held in the Hall County Jail on a charge of Theft over $20,000 dollars, but under $100,000.
