Amarillo, Texas, You can save water and get a rebate from the City of Amarillo.  As part of the City's Every Drop Counts 2009 program, the City Commission has approved a program whereby you can get a $50 rebate to install rain/freeze sensors on your existing home sprinker system.

There are only 400 rebates available so you need to contact the city quickly if you want the sensor.

It eliminates watering during rain or freezing weather.
