Convicted Pampa Killer Loses Appeal

The execution stands for a convicted killer from our area after he lost an appeal of his conviction and death sentence.

An appeals court rejected Henry Watkins Skinner's claim his lawyers should have used a blood spatter report at trial to beef up his defense.

A jury convicted skinner in the bludgeoning deaths of Twila Busby and her two mentally impaired sons.

Watkins killed them in their Pampa home on New Year's Eve in 1993.
