One Fire Burns Two Homes Southeast of Amarillo

Randall County, TX

A Randall County family is safe right now after their home went up in flames early Wednesday morning.

A Randall County Sheriff's Spokesman tells NewsChannel 10 the home near 58th Road and Tradewinds southeast of Amarillo caught fire after 3:30am.

A teenager in the house woke up and smelt smoke.

He then woke up the other three people in the home, and brought them out to safety.

The fire heavily damaged the homes roof, and jumped to smaller house in the back of the lot damaging it as well.

The second home did not have anyone inside.
