Amarillo, Texas - TX-DOT and the City of Amarillo are closer to deciding what to do with the Amarillo Rail Project.

Today TX-DOT presented the result of their value engineering study.  The study suggests realigning Grand Street with an overpass is the most cost efficient way to proceed.

The City took no action. TX-DOT says of the $11-million dollar cost of the project, only $7.5 million has been found.
