Randall County taxpayers will be paying back more than $11-million in certificates of obligation.

The Randall County Commission Tuesday approves the issuance of the certificates to pay for county buildings.

The money will be used to continue renovations on the county courthouse, to construct, renovate and equip jails, to buy land for parking, and for services related to those projects.

The certificates of obligation will be paid from property taxes.
