Dalhart - A local teacher and coach is facing charges of indecency with a child.

56-year-old Ronald Alvin Thompson worked for Hartley ISD, but specifics on the grade he taught and sports he coached are not being released.

He sits in the Dallam-Hartley county jail in Dalhart on a 150-thousand dollar bond.

District Attorney David Green says the case is still under investigation, so he will not provide any further details on this case.
