20 Computers Stolen From Bowie Middle School

Dozens of computers are missing from an Amarillo Middle School and police continue to search for the suspects.

Investigators say someone broke into Bowie Middle School and took off with about $40 thousand worth of electronics.

The Amarillo Police Department says "fifteen Dell model 520 laptop computers with 17-inch screens; five Dell model 600 laptop computers with 17- inch screens, 32 remote "clickers" (handheld device used by students to answer questions on computer tests), and one overhead projector" were taken.

Police believe the suspects broke a window on the south side of the school to get inside.

They ask anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 374-4400.
