JBS Swift Recalls nearly 400 Thousand Pounds of Meat

JBS Swift and Company is voluntarily expanding its beef recall to include more than 380 thousand pounds of products.

A recall earlier this week involved about 41 thousand pounds of products because of possible E. Coli contamination.

The USDA said today the products were produced April 21st and say EST, 969, a package date of 04-21-09 and time stamps ranging from 06:18 to 11:30.

24 illnesses in multiple states prompted the recall.
