A stimulus project has city officials asking for your input.
Traffic congestion at Southeast Third and Grand has been a thorn in Amarillo's side for years but was always too costly to resolve.
Now with the increasingly likely prospect of federal stimulus money funding the project, officials are considering one of two options.
One option would be to relocate the railroad tracks at Grand Street to alleviate the traffic flow. A second option would be to build additional bridges over the tracks at Grand and Eastern Streets.
But before any decisions are made, the Texas Department of Transportation and the city's Municipal Planning Organization want to hear from the community.
