Dumas EDC Helps Amarillo College's Wind Tech Program Grow

The Amarillo College wind technician training program is expanding with help from the Dumas Economic Development Corporation.

AC acting president paul matney accepted a check for $69 thousand.

The college says they will use the money to buy the necessary equipment to teach wind technicians at the Dumas campus.

Right now 750 people are on the waiting list for the program, and many live in the northern Panhandle.
