Texas Declared Disaster Area Due To Swine Flu

Texas Governor Rick Perry has issued a disaster declaration for the entire state of Texas.

The declaration allows the state to implement emergency protective measures and to seek reimbursement from the federal government.

This morning, the Centers for Disease Control also approved a 25% increase in the number of the anti-viral medication to fight the Swine Flu.

Currently, Texas has 16 confirmed cases of the virus, including one death in Houston.
