North Plains Mall Parent Company Files For Bankruptcy

Stores at the North Plains Mall in Clovis will continue business as usual after their parent company files for bankruptcy.

General Growth Properties incorporated, which owns 158 shopping centers across the country filed for Chapter 11 today in a New York court. A spokesperson says the company is making the decision to reduce and restructure its debts throughout their properties.

They add that all day-to-day operations and business will continue as usual.
