A Special Photo Gallery For Adoptive Kids

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The Heart Gallery of the High Plains is featuring some great kids and helping them find a new home.

This traveling photo gallery has been around since 2006. You can't help but smile when you see these pictures.

The Heart Gallery is dedicated to finding homes for youth in foster care. The photos are taken by local photographers who catch the spirit of the kids who are older and are looking for a home.

Since 2006, the gallery has helped find homes for 100 children.

The Gallery is set up at public events and places.

The gallery just got through with a month long stint at Westgate mall.

There are around 30 to 40 kids who need a home.

The program is through the Texas Family and protective services. The heart gallery is in other parts of the state and throughout the U.S.

The Gallery will be at Amarillo Bible Fellowship Church and Amarillo National Bank during Casa 5 K Run next week.
