Sign Companies are Busy after High Winds

Sign companies say damage from this last wind storm could take two weeks to clean up.

Companies say their clients will continue to call in damage on light poles and signage because much of the damage doesn't usually get noticed until weeks later.

Linda cox of Hoarel Sign company tells Newschannel 10 that their phone has rung off the hook on Monday.

They had several emergency calls on Saturday. Most of the repaires will be done this week.

Larger signs usually have a 70 - 80 mile an hour warranty. Winds were measured at up to 60 miles per hour on Saturday.

Cox tells us this is a busy time of year for repairs because of wind and hail.
