Market Street Robbery

An Amarillo man is in custody this morning following a robbery at Market Street.

Victor Perez entered the supermarket and went to the manager's officer. He threatened two store employees with a handgun.

He then forced one of them on the floor and ordered another to get him some cash. The employee placed an undisclosed about of money in bag.

Perez attempted to run out of the store but was confronted by three store employees. Investigators later found out the gun used in the robbery was bb gun.

Perez was booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
