Blizzard's Snow Melt Helps Area Bodies Of Water

As the snow continues to melt, local water sources are filling up, and the Canadian River has picked up its pace.

It is about half a foot higher than Thursday and is flowing about twice as fast.

Lake Meredith is also up a few inches from the snow melt.

Officials with the National Park Service say it takes between two and four days before a significant rise can be seen in the lake.
