Two men plead guilty to embezzling money from a company that runs a Pampa nursing home

Two men plead guilty to embezzling about $24,000 from Texas healthcare companies including one that runs a nursing home in Pampa.

Terry Dean West,39 made his plea today in a district court in Amarillo.

He was charged with making false statements related to healthcare matters, and aiding and abetting.

His co-defendant 34-year-old Elizandro Baldez Arana, also known as Brian Rodriguez, pleaded guilty to the same offense.

They each face a maximum sentence of five years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines.

They will be sentenced May 28.
