Battery charger blamed for computer virus

If your computer contracted a virus over the last three years, your Energizer battery charger may be to blame.

Software for the Energizer Duo Charger contains a malicious code that gives hackers access to your files.

The trojan horse runs every time your computer turns on even if the charger is not plugged in.

Experts continue to work to figure out how the malware made its way on to the program.

They urge all users who installed the software to uninstall it immediately.
